Rail Europe and Evaneos join forces to promote sustainable train travel across Europe
Paris, France 25th November 2024 – Rail Europe has joined forces with Evaneos, a pioneer in sustainable tourism, to further its mission of making European train travel the preferred choice for eco-conscious travellers. This collaboration enables travellers to seamlessly choose rail as a low-carbon, scenic alternative to air and road transport, supporting their journeys across diverse European destinations.
With Rail Europe’s extensive network now integrated into Evaneos' platform, travellers will have access to a wide range of rail options tailored to offer both environmental and experiential benefits. By prioritising rail, they can reduce their carbon footprint and enjoy a sustainable travel experience, booked seamlessly and directly from their Evaneos account.
As part of this partnership, Rail Europe is thrilled to support Evaneos in launching new rail-based itineraries that encourage travellers to explore Europe’s landscapes in a more sustainable way. The curated routes—linking iconic destinations such as Italy-Austria-Germany or Switzerland-Norway—highlight the diversity of European rail travel and the benefits of slower, more immersive journeys.
