Paris, 26 September 2024 – Rail Europe, the reference brand for European train booking, is pleased to announce the integration of Deutsche Bahn (DB) connections to Denmark. This new addition significantly broadens cross-border travel options across Europe for its B2B partners via RailAPI, RailFlash and RailPortal, complementing the existing offerings already available on its consumer channels. Customers can now book rail journeys between Germany and Denmark, as well as a wide range of European cities into Denmark and vice versa, thereby enhancing accessibility and travel possibilities across the continent.

This inventory offers broader access to Denmark’s iconic cities and breathtaking landscapes, extending all the way to Germany and beyond. In addition to well-known routes such as Hamburg to Copenhagen, Rail Europe now offers seamless connections from key cities in several neighbouring countries. For instance, travellers can journey between the Netherlands and Denmark, from Odense to Amsterdam, as well as Switzerland to Denmark, that is from Zürich to Aarhus, Belgium and Denmark, and from Brussels all the way to Fredericia. Similarly, travellers from the Czech Republic can reach Copenhagen from Prague. And with the multi-carriers feature, which enables customers to book train tickets with different providers under one single journey, they can take this trip even further.

Jürgen Witte, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Rail Europe, commented: "This expanded connectivity to Denmark marks an important step for Rail Europe. By providing new routes from major European hubs into Denmark, we give our customers more options for sustainable travel across the region. These new connections simplify travel and open doors to exciting new destinations across Europe, for business and leisure travellers alike."

As part of its commitment to continuously improve its services, Rail Europe will soon introduce domestic Danish routes, expanding Rail Europe’s network and making train travel in Europe easier than ever.
